Organise your mortgage – You’ll need to contact your chosen mortgage broker, bank or building society and secure your mortgage. Selling another property? Let us have the details of your sale and we’ll monitor the process to ensure it runs as smoothly as possible.
Sign and exchange contracts – Once your solicitors receive your mortgage offer, you can sign your contract. This is when you need to pay a deposit for your new home. You can move to exchanging contracts when your buyers are ready to proceed.
Estimated completion – We take every care to deliver your home on time; sometimes completion can be delayed by weather conditions, connections of services or shortage of materials – we will always keep you informed about the build progress of your new home and completion date.
Curo’s Quality Assurance - Your property will be inspected by a Senior Build Manager to ensure it meets Curo’s quality standards and benchmarks. In addition, an inspector from the NHBC will carry out an independent inspection to verify compliance with industry standards and regulations. Only then will we proceed to schedule your home demonstration and completion.
New home demonstration - The Site Manager who built your new home and your Sales Negotiator will guide you through the key features of the property and the best ways to maintain it prior to completion. All the information demonstrated to you will be included within your Handover Pack for reference.
Legal completion and handover – We’ll agree a completion date with you; this is when the payment of your balance needs to be transferred to Curo and you’ll receive the keys to your new home.
Home sweet home – Welcome to your new home. We’ll give you a certificate confirming that your property is in perfect order, you will also receive a handover pack and further access on your Welcome Home Portal with all you need to know about your new home – from warranties to our Customer Care service and maintenance advice.

To help us monitor and continually improve the service we provide, we may contact you throughout your home-buying journey to request feedback on your experience. Approximately 30 days after you have collected your keys, you will receive an email survey directly from Curo. The survey will ask a number of questions about your experience, including the sales process, the handover of your home, and your experience since moving in. Our dedicated Customer Care team is here to support you with any queries you may have following completion. Please feel free to contact them at CustomerCare@curo-group.co.uk
